Whether you've been on this journey with me for over a decade, or this is your first time meeting me: WELCOME!
It's been quite the journey to say the least. So much has changed since then: dropped 4 new musical projects, dropped 3 new kids (lol), launched Five Mics: The Hip-Hop Trading Card Game, and so much more.
Through it all, I've been feeling a strong yearning to share my thoughts, insights, learnings, writing, and art in a way that makes me feel more alive.
Social media has gotten way too saturated and artificial for me – from bot comments and posts, to AI-posing-as-human thought. With each passing day, as I watch these platforms degrade human experience, I got increasingly disgusted by the idea of having to log in and chase these platforms for its algorithmic attention.
As though my friendships, my connections, my supporters could only be found on their heavily-controlled platforms. "If you want to be heard, follow our rules. If you want to be seen, play our game."
I guess this is what makes me an "entrepreneur"? Even before I knew how to spell the word, doing it because everyone else is doing it – I just could never really do it. It never sat right with me.
Wild thought: what if the people that want to find me find me? What if the ones that want to connect with me get to connect directly with me?
